Responsibilities

Boise Cascade is seeking a Financial Reporting Technician with experience in providing support across multiple finance-related functions.  This position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in Boise, Idaho.

Primary duties include:

  • Provide general administrative support to Corporate Controller and four functional areas in Corporate Finance
  • Collect, compile, and review self-certifications in support of Company’s compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley
  • Provide support with general accounting activities, to include compilation, recording, and reconciliation of ledger accounts  
  • Provide support role in preparation, review and distribution of monthly and quarterly financial reports and tax filings provided to internal and external audiences
  • Schedule meetings and events in support of quarterly financial reporting activities
  • Prepare department budgets, review and analyze monthly responsibility statements
  • Review and prepare invoices for payment

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: High school diploma and two years directly relatable work experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications: Typically more than 7 years of experience in related job function. Role may require technical certification or associates degree.
